Marckolsheim. After her mission on water management, Nancia Randrianasolo leaves "with lots of ideas, dreams..."

It was through the Gescod (Grand Est Solidarités et coopérations pour le développement) network that the City of Marckolsheim welcomed Nancia Randrianasolo, at the beginning of September 2024, for an international solidarity volunteering (VSI) mission. The young Malagasy woman, a technical assistant in water, sanitation and hygiene for Gescod in Madagascar, took advantage of this year to discover Alsace, France and Europe as well as water and waste management techniques.

A year full of encounters. "The adventure is over, but it was a wonderful experience. I'm leaving with lots of memories, each one more beautiful than the last, and with lots of ideas, projects, and dreams," she smiles...
